Gatlin Diner in Port Saint Lucie

This is one of those hole in the wall places that you wish you knew about. Stopped by and had a Bison burger, burger was delicious, fries were crispy and soft on inside. Had some good beers on tap too, gnomegang and schofferhoffer.

This is a family owned and operated local place. Finally a place that still makes everything fresh to order, a lost art in the sea of chain restaurants. Banquet room is awesome and no charge as long as you are utilizing food/drinks! Service is awesome, try for yourself.

Truly a quality steak house. The ingredients are fresh and from grass fed beef. Full bar with excellent selection. Also has a banquet room.

Amazing ostrich burger, crab cake and lobster bites. All the food was really fresh, great wedge salad. The owner is very friendly and committed to great food. Really enjoyed our visit and will be back next time we are in town.

Great food and service!

We went to Buffalo Chophouse tonight after searching for a local steak restaurant. Let me tell you, we had a perfect experience. We were seated immediately, our server was prompt and attentive, and the food was devine! I got the Beef on Weck and couldn't believe how amazing it was. My friend ordered a sirloin and it was cooked perfectly as requested, medium, and it was high quality meat. I was so impressed, we will be back!

My wife and I had dinner there Thursday evening. Great service by Mike. My wife had the Weck on a bun and it was delicious. I tried the Meatloaf and it was delicious. We highly recommend it.

Very nice atmosphere, great place for date night, service was very good, our server was friendly, very knowledgeable about the food, funny, friendly and professional.The food was good, not outstanding. For the most part the portions were pretty big, wasn't enough gravy for the meatloaf, the mashed potatoes, although delicious, could have been a little bigger portion and had gravy as well but that could just be a personal thing.We'll definitely go back, the different choices of beef were impressive and I look forward to trying them.

Fantastic soups and salad, the dressings are house-made and delicious. They have options for every palette and the array of hearty salads was impressive. The dessert coffee option was an off-menu caramel frozen concoction offered by our waitress, and it did not disappoint. Will be back!

Locally owned, and the owner is very kind and accommodating. It's often slow but I think location has alot to do with that, its located in a slightly difficult spot that people tend to drive past. Which is a shame because the food is delicious! Most complaints I see are serve time but I've never had that issue here. Their sandwiches are grear and their grilled meatloaf with mushroom gravy is delicious. I've not been for dinnee but their lunch prices are very reasonable. I asked for a dessert menu and she brought out a whole dessert tray so I could see the options. The lemon cake was good.Also some of the best sweet potato fries in town.

Outstanding food and service! Would highly recommend the meatloaf wrapped in bacon and then finished on char grill with mushroom gravy and one side...delicious! All for $13. My family will be repeat patrons!

I haven't had service like this in a long time the food was top notch I ordered the pork chop I gave the bartender the full charge of my long island ice tea amd I believe she paired it without being asked honestly our new go to when we want something besides the usual must try best steak house in town

i went for a birthday party and was not pleased with the service at all. for some reason even tho they were still open to the public we could not order appetizers

I made a delivery of food, I just had to pick up the food and take it, I remember only a woman of more than 30 years of blond hair gave me the food, we did not have any kind of conversation. The next day they call me from the restaurant to my personal cell phone, to give me a treat, saying they wanted to talk to the supervisor of the company I work for. I am outraged that I don't even know why he was calling me. The first person who called me heard a young person and the second person I called back was answered by a slightly older person, both are women. The last time I called they told me that I could not call the restaurant and many things that I did not understand at all, because I do not even understand the reason for their disrespect, when they were the ones who dared to call my cell phone. very rude and disrespectful. You should check the staff that you have working for you, because there are many people who deliver food and that is an ineligible disrespect.

We showed up at 7pm on a Friday. To our surprise it was very empty so we were excited thinking we can eat relatively quickly! Our waitress was kind and attentive. None of this has to do with our waitress. She was fine but everything else was bad. We ordered a basic Angus burger and meatloaf. An hour later we asked where our food was. Mind you, there were only a few other tables with anybody sitting in them. The food is ok but definitely not worth the price once they up charge you for everything from a slice of cheese to anything but French fries. Its painful just sitting in the dimly lit room waiting an eternity for some overpriced food to arrive. Spare your wallet and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other options available locally with much more bang for your buck along with a much better vibe in the restaurant.

Really good steakhouse. The prime rib was fantastic and my wife's Steak was cooked perfectly. Much better than the chain steakhouses in the area If you are looking for a great steak and potatoes place and not a fast food steak place, then look no further, this is the place.

Hands down the best customer service we have had in Florida! My drink was always refilled and we were well taken care of the entire time. I thought it might have been too good to be true, so we went back the next week on a different day and had the same great experience. We love it! I got the philly and it was really good. I also got their mushroom soup and oh my gosh, the best mushroom soup I've ever had, plus, their sweet tea was delicious as well. My wife and I will definitely be back!

We came tonight with our large party of 6a and 4k. We called ahead though we didn’t need to. It wasn’t busy but I don’t know why. Service was friendly and polite. The food took a bit but it’s all made to order which I would prefer over frozen stuff or to have things reheated. They didn’t have a couple of things on the menu but again, when you’re cooking stuff to order with such a large and varied menu you’ll have that. The menu was so big! Lots to choose from. I don’t know why this place isn’t more packed! I’m more than happy to leave this review because we left happy and full! We had wings, filet, appetizers, desserts... even the French fries were amazing! I love finding these homegrown places.

Had my favorite takeout! Beef On Weck! Delicious and flavorful as usual. The owner, Debbie, included with my order a full bottle of WEBER’S MUSTARD! If you have never had a Beef On Weck with Weber’s Mustard you must try it. Thank you Debbie for the gift.👍❤️

The food is more than dynamic. I've never had a meal that wasn't fresh or delish. There is a reason the time to table is a bit longer and I'm glad I wait because you can taste the difference so much. The staff are wonderful and the owner aims to please. Perfection is hard but this place comes close. Did i mention the staff are wonderful! 😊

Just went here today during the pandemic... it was Some of the best food we’ve had, usually when you go to a restaurant most things are done right but not everything... here everything we had was done right. You can’t go wrong. This is a true 5 star restaurant.

Came here looking for some good Buffalo food and it exceeded our expectations! Chicken wings, beef on weck, onion rings, kids menu, ALL of it was amazing. The Restaurant has a home town feel with great service and a good variety to choose from. Sorry no pictures, we ate everything right up. Family friendly or good for an adult evening out, will be back again very soon!!!

We ordered delivery for dinner tonight and everything was awesome!! The chicken wings were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy skin with the perfect amount of sauce. Their French fries were the best fries me and my husband have ever had. We also got the Bang-Thai shrimp and that was the nicest shrimp dish I have had in a long time. This restaurant was on point tonight. This food wasn’t cooked by just someone who was taught to cook, this food was cooked by a chef, and it shows. We will going back and telling our friends.

The food was delicious. I liked that they had a lunch menu with great choices. The chef was more than gracious to add grilled onions to my dish. The server, Lisa was a sweetheart. She made sure everything was perfect. Prices are very good and you got enough for leftovers. We will go back again soon and hope to see you there. Enjoy!

It was pretty good. We both had angus burgers. They were cooked perfect. Very filling. The service was ok. He was very attentive but a little to much. They were slow so maybe he waa bored. Overall experience was good.

GO HERE NOW! I'm not kidding, as a buffalo native myself this restaurant is a little slice (although serving size is not little) of home. Every worker In there is amazingly nice and friendly, and the food is to die for. The Beef of weck, the WINGS, the fish fry all my hometown classics done right. I was just home to Buffalo a few weeks ago and went to Charlie the butcher, it tastes just like the one here, although I like the chopshouses horseradish more. My whole family comes here often and my brother practically lives here. Do yourself a favor, pull over and eat here. Buffalo knows food and this place will make you feel like you belong from the second you walk in.

Showed up around 7:30. Only a few tables seated. We waited over an hour for our food. Up charged and wasn't warned by staff about "premium sides". Feel like it was extremely understaffed. Food wasn't bad. Honestly the best onion rings I've ever had. Seeing all the high wait times in the reviews and the owners unprofessional responses makes me not want to go again.

Have been many times and tried many different items from the menu, and I can say that without exception that this place make excellent food and takes pride in there business.

Bad experience. We waited over an hour before asking for our appetizer then it finally came out. Then we were there for 1 hour and 45 minutes before finally asking for our food to be put in a to go bag because our child had to go to bed. While we were there two other tables left because there food never came out. Even the police showed up after three ladies walked out. When we got home to eat our filet and rib eye the food was really good. Its a shame that the kitchen cant make the food in under an hour and 45 minutes. Regardless we will never go back.
